Who are we?
We are a dynamic team of individuals from the public, medical, and fire fighter community who are committed to providing support in the interest of humanitarian relief to the citizens of North Kansas City. Driven by the instinct to serve others with intent to build successful relationships. Our fire department and community are integral to each other.
Customs and Culture
A key aspect of fire department culture is the focus on teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation. Join us on Snake Saturday for our annual pancake breakfast, or in the fall for our chili feed. The fire department is an integral part of our community.
Do you need us to install a smoke detector in your home? How about a fire extinguisher for your kitchen? We also provide File Of Life magnetic medical information pockets just in case of a medical emergency.
Fire prevention and medical education are important aspects of safety that involve taking steps to reduce the risk of fires occurring and educating people about how to prevent and respond to emergencies. Please inquire about station tours, fire extinguisher training, or CPR training.
Firefighters are workers who play a vital role in protecting the safety and well-being of communities. Physical fitness is an important part of being a firefighter, as the job can be physically demanding. We strive to be good examples of what it means to be healthy and fit.
Our community service organization provides financial assistance to those who qualify. Do you need help with rent or medical bills? How about tuition assistance? Please fill out the application for assistance on the Contact page.
Don't hesitate to reach out to us for food, clothing, or shelter. We provide all aspects of human life that help to ensure basic needs are met and support the needs of individuals and community.
